Welcome to the daily readings from OneYearBibleOnline.com, the original online guide for those desiring to read through the Bible in one year.
The One Year® Bible daily readings consist of passages from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. This arrangement of Scripture brings variety and a fresh approach to each day’s reading, while providing a clear understanding of the Bible’s larger message. No other “through the bible” plan presents the entire bible in such a user-friendly format.

May 28th One Year Bible Readings
2 SAMUEL 13:1-39
"What Now" Study Questions:
- David handles the rape of Tamar poorly. Though he is angry, he never punishes his son, Amnon. This leads to the rage and eventual rebellion of Absalom. In parenting and in life, we cannot ignore sin and conflict. Ignored sin and conflict will fester and infect. Is there conflict you hope will go away?
- Be encouraged that Jesus prayed for your protection in the world. -- 'Holy Father, I am no longer in the world. I am coming to you, but my followers are still in the world. So keep them safe by the power of the name that you have given me. Then they will be one with each other, just as you and I are one.' ~ John 17:11 (CEV)
