David handles the rape of Tamar poorly. Though he is angry, he never punishes his son, Amnon. This leads to the rage and eventual rebellion of Absalom. In parenting and in life, we cannot ignore sin and conflict. Ignored sin and conflict will fester and infect. Is there conflict you hope will go away?
